A 1931 California Mission-style building being fully adapted for a modern restaurant and retail concept, with an enclosed outdoor patio and adjacent development lot.
Magnolia Station is designed for a community-serving operator who wants to build something lasting — with real support and a genuine path to owning the building.
Nearly a century on the same corner — and now ready for its next chapter.
Homewise focuses on acquiring and restoring vacant and underutilized properties — both residential and commercial — and returning them to productive use. That work is concentrated in historically disinvested neighborhoods including Barelas, South Broadway, and the International District, with the goal of attracting new investment without displacing existing businesses and residents.
Homewise also operates a commercial loan program to help small businesses and nonprofits purchase the buildings they occupy. Magnolia Station continues that effort.
